1965
George Vaillancourt and Gene Maffei gathered their knowledges of Christmas trees production and distribution to found Valfei Products Inc.

1979
The two founders introduced their sons to the business and since that time, Serge Vaillancourt and Michael Maffei are managing the corporation.

1980
Serge and Michael decided to give a second vocation to the business and became distributors of quality horticultural products such as peat moss, mulchs, soils and professional growing mixes.

1998
Valfei innoved, once again, and became the first one to present in North Eastern of the United States a complete Halloween program.

2001
Valfei takes a part of a seething market and became distributor of hay, straw, silage and wood shaving.

2003
In a constent effort to give a large range of products to its customers, Valfei became distributor of wood pellet and de-icer products.

For the future
Serge and Michael will continue to manage the corporation under a code of conduct passed down from their fathers, based on fair play.

They will also keep introducing new products to be one step ahead of the competition.
