Calcium Chloride Flakes is a high performance product. With its exothermic action (286 Btu/lb.), it melts ice in conditions as low as -40°F (-40°C); compared to conventional salt whose de-icing effectiveness is limited to a temperature of 14°F (-10°C).

Furthermore, Calcium Chloride Flakes will not leave stains or rings on carpets, floors and trousers. It will effectively thaw out your driveways, sidewalks and roadways without leaving odours or residue, or causing discoloration.
